“Doors Open Ottawa” at the Diefenbunker

On June 1^st and 2^nd between 10:00am and 4:00pm, the Diefenbunker will be offering FREE admission to the Museum as part of Doors Open Ottawa.

The West Carleton War Memorial will have a booth at the community tent to help answer all your questions, and will be collecting donations.

Background

As part of the beautification of municipal properties in Carp, the local business association CarpBIA voted to support the construction of a Cenotaph in Carp to honour those men and women of the West Carleton area who died in World War I, World War II and later conflicts and who have enlisted and stood up for Canada.
